Clouded Mind

"If your mind isn't clouded by unnecessary things, then this is the best season of your life."
-- Wu Men

God like - our ability to think

This is written in my notes. It is beautiful, but I don't know if it was a quote or me writing excerpts from something.

We are most like God in our ability to think. Our mind, His mind, is expansive.

If I can do this for a moment, maybe God can do this to me permanently.

Hmmm. This has some deep stuff in it.

Mind Integrity

"Nothing is at last sacred except that of the integrity of your own mind."

- Ralph Waldo Emerson -

Positive Expectancy

"Positive self-expectancy is the first, most outwardly identifiable quality of a top-achieving, winning human being...There never was a winner who didn't expect to win in advance."

- Denis Waitley -

Entertaining Thoughts

Another quote on Patti's Facebook wall:

"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." - Aristotle
