Just read great set of rules in the Post letters to editor from Bernard Paiewonsky, reminds me of all the jobs I have had in my career and good reminders (the first two especially)
1. being smart is not enough
2. being right doesn't matter
3. good luck beats intellect
4. politics trumps reason
5. emotion defeats thinking
